Embrava + Cloud Booking

Cloudbooking reserves the space. Embrava confirms it on the desk and the door. A reservation becomes a verified one the moment someone taps in, and Cloudbooking gets back proof of who really used the room, with nothing about your booking platform changing.

Two layers, one floor

Who does what.

Cloudbooking and Embrava own different halves of the same workflow. Cloudbooking is the SaaS platform that books desks, rooms, parking, and other resources and reports on how they are used. Embrava is the hardware that takes the desk and room bookings off the screen and verifies them in the building.

Cloud Booking

The booking platform

  • Booking for desks, meeting rooms, parking, and more
  • Workplace analytics across every resource type
  • The app employees reserve their space in
  • The system of record for who booked what
Embrava

The hardware on the floor

  • Desk Sign and Room Sign at the point of use
  • Color status light readable from across the floor
  • Badge, NFC, Wallet, QR, and touch check-in
  • Ground-truth check-in data fed back to Cloudbooking
How it fits together

From booked to verified.

The integration runs both ways. A desk or room reservation made in Cloudbooking shows up on the Embrava sign in real time, with the booking details, the time remaining, and a color state anyone can read at a glance. When the person arrives and checks in at the device, by tapping a badge, an NFC phone, a Wallet credential, a QR code, or the screen, that check-in flows straight back to Cloudbooking. The reservation, the physical device, and the schedule never drift apart.

Nothing about your Cloudbooking setup has to change. There is no middleware to run, no second calendar to keep clean, and no new login for employees. Cloudbooking stays the system of record across desks, rooms, and parking. Embrava is the layer that confirms the desk and room bookings where they actually happen.

What Embrava adds

What a Cloudbooking floor gains with hardware on it.

A booking that gets confirmed

Cloudbooking books many resource types. Embrava is the device that confirms the desk and the room. A tap at the sign turns the reservation into a verified one and frees the space if nobody shows.

Check-in employees already have

RFID badge at 13.56 MHz and 125 kHz, NFC phone, Apple or Google Wallet, HID Mobile credential, QR, or a screen tap. No app to install and no new credential to issue.

Availability you can see across the room

A color status light shows free, reserved, or in use from across an open floor, so people stop walking up to closed doors and squatting on the wrong booking.

Analytics grounded in reality

Cloudbooking captures who booked. Embrava captures who actually arrived. Every check-in is a ground-truth signal, so its workplace analytics reflect the building as it really runs.

Common questions

Embrava and Cloud Booking, answered.

Does Embrava work with Cloud Booking?
Yes. Embrava Room Sign and Desk Sign integrate with Cloudbooking through the Embrava platform. A reservation made in Cloudbooking appears on the sign, and check-ins made at the sign feed back to Cloudbooking, so the booking, the device, and the schedule stay in sync. There is no middleware and no second calendar to maintain.
Cloudbooking already covers desks, rooms, and parking. What does Embrava add?
Cloudbooking is the platform that decides who has which resource and when. Embrava is the device that confirms it. For the desk and room bookings, an Embrava sign shows the reservation at the point of use, lights up a color status anyone can read, and lets people check in by badge, NFC phone, Wallet, QR, or touch. That turns a booking into a verified one and gives Cloudbooking ground-truth utilization, not just intent.
Do I have to replace Cloudbooking to add Embrava signs?
No. Embrava is the physical layer that sits behind the booking platform you already run. Cloudbooking stays your system of record; Embrava signs surface its desk and room reservations at the point of use and capture check-ins. No rip-and-replace, no middleware, and no new credentials for employees.
How do employees check in at an Embrava sign on a Cloudbooking floor?
With whatever they already carry. The sign reads an RFID badge at 13.56 MHz and 125 kHz, an NFC phone, an Apple or Google Wallet credential, an HID Mobile credential, a QR code, or a screen tap. Every check-in flows back to Cloudbooking as a ground-truth signal, so its workplace analytics reflect who actually showed up.
If we move off Cloudbooking later, do we lose the Embrava hardware?
No. Embrava signs are platform-agnostic. The Embrava platform sits between the device and your calendar and booking systems, so the same hardware carries over if you switch from Cloudbooking to Microsoft Places, Eptura, ServiceNow, or another platform. The hardware decision and the software decision stay separate.
