Embrava + Genesys

Genesys knows what every agent is doing. The Embrava Blynclight puts that on a light you can read down a row of desks. Available, on a call, after-call work, on break, each in its own color, so a supervisor scans occupancy across the floor instead of staring at a dashboard.

Agent state, made physical

Who does what.

Genesys Cloud already tracks where every agent is in their workflow. That state sits inside the agent desktop, where only the agent and a reporting screen can see it. Embrava lifts it onto a light the supervisor and the agent's neighbors can read across the floor.

Genesys Cloud

The agent-state source

  • Live agent state: available, interacting, after-call work, not ready
  • The routed calls and breaks that move it
  • The queues and workflow each agent is assigned to
  • The contact-center platform your team already runs
Embrava Blynclight

The light on the floor

  • Mirrors the Genesys agent state in color, automatically
  • Reads down a row of desks, not just on one screen
  • Recolor any state to your floor's convention
  • Blynclight Plus adds a speaker for audible call and queue alerts
How it fits together

One agent state, visible from the aisle.

Embrava Connect, the free companion app for Windows and macOS, runs on the agent's machine next to the Genesys agent desktop. It reads the agent's state and drives the Blynclight to match: green when they are available, red when they are on a call, and a distinct color for after-call work or when they step away on break. The instant Genesys moves the agent, the light moves with it. The agent never touches it.

Where an agent runs Genesys alongside other tools, Connect applies a priority order, so a live Genesys interaction outranks a quieter status and always wins the light. There is no driver to install and no admin permission to grant. Plug the Blynclight in over USB, sign in to Connect, and point it at Genesys.

What Blynclight adds

What agent state gains on the floor.

Read the row at a glance

A supervisor walking the aisle sees who is available, who is interacting, and who is in after-call work without opening Genesys. Occupancy becomes a visual scan across desks.

Audible alerting with Plus

The Blynclight Plus model carries a built-in speaker, so a tone can mark an incoming call or a queue threshold while the agent's eyes stay on the customer record.

No agent action

The light follows the Genesys state on its own. No status to set, no stale "available" while an agent is mid-interaction or wrapping a call.

Roll out across the center

Push one color scheme and priority order to every Blynclight through the Enterprise Admin Console, with Group Policy for Windows-managed fleets.

Common questions

Blynclight and Genesys, answered.

How does the Blynclight follow a Genesys agent's state?
Embrava Connect reads the agent's Genesys state on their machine and drives the light to match. As the agent moves from available to interacting to after-call work, the Blynclight changes with them. The agent does not set anything by hand, and the floor sees the change the moment it happens.
Which Genesys agent states map to colors?
The states a contact center runs on: available, on a call or interacting, after-call work, and on break or not ready. Each maps to a color, green for available, red for on a call, and a separate color for after-call work or not ready. Every mapping is recolorable, so the light matches your floor's own convention.
What software does an agent need to install?
Only Embrava Connect, the free companion app for Windows and macOS. No driver, no admin rights. The agent plugs the Blynclight in over USB, signs in to Connect, and selects Genesys as the source the light should follow. It runs quietly alongside the Genesys agent desktop.
Can a supervisor read state across a whole row of agents at once?
That is the point on the floor. Because each Blynclight sits at the top of the desk and reads from a distance, a supervisor walking a row sees who is available, who is on a call, and who is in after-call work without opening a dashboard. Occupancy and state become a visual scan, not a screen check.
What does the Blynclight Plus add for a contact center?
The Blynclight Plus model adds a built-in speaker, so the light can sound an audible alert as well as change color. In a busy center that means a tone for an incoming call or a queue threshold, useful when an agent's eyes are on a customer record rather than the light.
Can the light follow Genesys and another app together?
Yes. Embrava Connect can watch several apps at once and apply a priority order, so a live Genesys interaction outranks a quieter status from another tool. The most important state wins the light. Across a fleet, the Enterprise Admin Console and Group Policy push one configuration to every Blynclight at once.
